One of our 427P crate engines, this one for a Cobra replica build.

Client opted for Holley EFI option, and we added his specified accessories. We also shortened the Victor Jr intake pad height to allow for more hood clearance.

Our 427P makes mid 600hp on pump gas and has the foundation of a Dart SHP block, S**t crankshaft and rods, Bennett custom hydraulic roller camshaft, and TFS 11R cylinder heads.

400U Turbo engine available. Low runs and configured for high boost applications and would be good fit for X275 or No Time car. These combos have been high 4.00 to 4 teens consistently with single 88mm turbo. This engine has low runs, we have inspected engine and is ready to go fast!

🏁 🏁DOUBLE-UP WINS AT BATTLE OF THRONES AT US 131 FOR BENNETT POWER

What a weekend for Bennett Racing Engines customers at the Battle of Thrones at US 131 in Michigan!

In X275, Bennett power showed up strong in qualifying:

Davey Hull qualified #1 with a 4.10 @ 177 mph
Hailey Hawes qualified #3 with a 4.12 @ 176 mph
Stephen Barnett qualified #7 with a 4.18 @ 170 mph

By the semifinals, three Bennett-powered cars remained: Davey Hull, Hailey Hawes, and Stephen Barnett. In a great Bennett-powered matchup, Barnett edged out Hawes on the tree in a close race, 4.13 to 4.13.

That set up an all-Bennett-powered final, where Davey Hull 🏆came out on top with a 4.05 @ 175 mph over Stephen Barnett’s 4.11 @ 170 mph in the Ryan Racing Mustang. Shoutout to Justin McChesney🐾 on a great tuning performance!

Congratulations to Davey, Stephen, Hailey, their teams, and tuners on an outstanding weekend. Thank you for allowing Bennett Racing Engines to be part of your programs.

🔥Martin Connelley qualified #7 in Joe Glockner’s IROC with a 4.46 @ 160 mph

This was an extremely fast field!

Our Bennett Racing Engines/KBX nitrous-powered shop car had a great weekend, but a wheel stand ended our weekend early.

In the end, Martin Connelley🏆drove the Glockner Racing IROC to the winner’s circle with a 4.42 @ 161 mph blast in the final!

Huge congratulations to Martin Connelley, Glockner Racing, Tin Soldiers Race Cars, and Jason Waterman on an outstanding weekend and a job well done. Also, a big shoutout to Connelley Racing for the dedication and work they put into this car and all of their customers. Our 400U engine platform continues to shine in Ultra Street turbo combinations, and our 450U nitrous engine continues to make great strides. These engines feature our TFS Hi Port 285RX cylinder heads and, of course, our Bennett Custom Turbo and Nitrous Camshafts.

Ramon bought a sportsman shortblock a year or 2 back. Then bought camshaft and a set of our highports. Basically piecing his engine together a little at a time. X275 WORLD RECORD! 🔥

Davey Hull reset the X275 world record with a 4.02 @ 178 mph at Battle of Thrones at US 60 Dragway!

What a huge weekend for our customers!

Congratulations to Davey Hull and Hull Racing on becoming the new X275 world record holders in Davey’s Bennett-powered Mustang. We are honored to be a part of this program and proud to see the hard work pay off at this level.

That speaks volumes about the evolution of this class, but more importantly, it’s a testament to the hard work behind our engine development, the advancements from our vendor partners, and the drive and commitment of our customer teams.” -John Kolivas

Davey’s 4.02 put him in the #1 qualifying spot, with several more Bennett-powered entries right behind him:

#3 Ian Hill -4.06 @ 176 mph
#4 Stephen Barnett/Terry Ryan Racing 4.07 @ 175 mph
#9 Alan Felts -4.18 @ 172 mph

Notably Ian Hill held the record for a short time with his 4.06 blast made prior to Davey's run!

Davey went on to finish runner-up in X275.

These cars represent four different Bennett turbocharged engine combinations:

• 400X with SC2 heads
• 400X with SC1 heads
• 400U with Bennett TFS Hi Port 285RX heads
• 500X with SC2 heads

In Ultra Street, Joel Greathouse piloted the Hull Racing entry to the #2 qualifying spot with a 4.39 @ 161 mph. Joe Glockner followed at #5 with a new personal best of 4.40 @ 161 mph, with both cars running turbocharged versions of our 400U engine program.

Shawn Pevlor also qualified #8 in the Bennett/KBX shop car with a 4.43 in the nitrous 450U-powered entry going an unbelievable class record .993 60 ft time!

Greathouse and Glockner both advanced to the semifinals, with each fighting through transbrake gremlins.

Still Making good strides with the KBX/Bennett shop car! Tonight we went .993-2.84-4.43! That might be the quickest 60ft in ultra class history! Still trying to get the back half worked out as we are off a little there. HUGE thanks to all the great vendors that helped us on this project!!! This is our 450U highport SB NOS combo with a NX plate!
