Did you know we’ve been repairing vehicles in Nevada County for over 70 years?

Tripp’s Auto Body was founded by Arlie Weslie Tripp in 1954. He moved to Nevada County after previously living in Oregon and relocating with his wife, Clara, and their five children (later welcoming a sixth child, Darrol Tripp).

The shop was originally located at 127 Stewart Street in the heart of Grass Valley as pictured in the aerial photo below.

After three generations of family ownership, we feel incredibly blessed and grateful for each and every customer who walks through our doors!

Our classic red pillars have officially traded in their old coat for a sleek, modern gray. While our outside received an upgrade, inside it's the same reliable, top-tier service you've always trusted us with.

Happy 4th of July weekend from all of us at Tripp's Auto Body!

Just a quick reminder that our shop is closed today, Friday, July 3rd, so our team can enjoy the holiday with their families. We will resume our normal business hours on Monday.

Our team took a little detour from our usual automotive repairs to paint this custom guitar. We gave it that signature quality finish, and it is officially ready for its next show.

Fueling up the best crew in the business!

Today we had a staff lunch party to say thank you to our incredible team at Tripp's Auto Body. They work tirelessly to get you back on the road safely, so today we made sure they got a chance to take a break and enjoy some good food.

We are so incredibly grateful for their dedication, skill, and the dynamic they bring to the shop every day! ✨
