We have been selling repairable vehicles since the late 1960's when Art and Marie Nordstrom found themselves in charge of a family farm after Art's dad died of cancer way to soon. They found they did not have the credit to buy a different pick up for the farm. Art and Marie decided to buy a wrecked Ford F-series from our now passed good friend Marv Underberg at Arndt's wreck king in SIoux Falls. That Ford pick up not only was great for the farm, but showed Art and Marie that they could sideline in fixing vehicles for the neighboring farmers also in need of good affordable farm pick ups and grain trucks. What they found as time passed, the demand outpaced the ability for the busy farm family to deliver and they started selling them wrecked and using their knowledge to help get the parts and to direct their buyers which professionals to use for the frame work, painting and alignments. This endeavor grew over time with advertising in a new magazine started by our neighbors just down the road called Deals on Wheels. A thriving parts business also sprung from this effort as extra vehicles were acquired for parts and stored in the trees at the family farm. Fast forward to current day and now their are more than 75 employees and a fully automated and organized business that sells vehicles and parts of all types on bigger chunk of property than just just the trees! . Nordstrom's is recognized as an industry leader in the automotive arena and even has a Nationally syndicated radio show that was launched in 1990 called The Under Hood Show. www.underthehoodshow.com is another sprout growing from the seeds planted so many years ago. Nordstrom's repairables prides themselves in giving accurate descriptions and pictures to make sure you know what you are buying. We are careful to make sure you are aware of what is needed to repair some types of repairs as we want to be a full disclosure company working hard to make sure the project you purchase is within your knowledge range. We have parts available for your purchase and want to help you with parts even if you did not buy your vehicle from us or if you wrecked your own vehicle. We no longer fix vehicles but we have many professionals that we can refer you to to help with your repair needs. We support full disclosure of damage and all of our vehicles will require all buyers to sign a Nordstrom's form that confirms you realize what you are buying. Some of our vehicles have disclosed titles and some have salvage titles and some may even have regular SD titles. We will disclose the title document that we have, but we can not ever guarantee how different states will title your vehicle. Please make sure you understand your local state rules if you do not. We can not guarantee future title status nor can we control how your vehicle may show up on a vehicle history or title history report. We put our reputation on the line daily to treat you right and make sure you are confident in the decision you have made to choose Nordstrom's. We sell vehicles with just a few miles on them and we sell higher mileage vehicles with minor damage. We sell mechanically damaged vehicles also.
