The Village of Freeport will be receiving $3.3 million to purchase and install additional stormwater pumping stations across the village. The funding was supplied through the passage of the Water Resources Development Act of 2026 from the U.S. House of Representatives.

Most people find us in the middle of something. A move, a downsize, a house that has to be cleared out, a business that outgrew its back room.

That is when we meet you, and it is usually not anyone's best week.

350 of you took the time to write about it afterward. Thank you. That number means more to us than any advertising we could buy.

We opened Freeport Self Storage in 1997 and built the new facility in 2018. What has not changed in 29 years is the approach. We help people. We do not sell to them.

And yes, that is Georgie, head of hospitality, better at the job than any of us.

It was important to first pause on September 11, to stand together, reflect, and honor all those we lost.

It was wonderful to see our neighbors come together for our event, but the strength, unity, and generosity our community showed in support of this cause made it truly special.

Together, we raised $4,560 for Tunnel to Towers Foundation. Freeport Self Storage has now made our matching $5,000 donation, which is currently waiting to appear on the fundraiser page.

That brings our combined total to $9,560, just $440 away from $10,000! 🇺🇸

Let’s finish what we started. Every donation, no matter the amount, brings us closer to raising $10,000 in support of America’s heroes and their families.

25 years later, we remember.

We honor the lives lost on September 11, 2001, the courage of those who rushed to help, and the families whose lives were forever changed. We also remember those we have lost in the years since and the responders and survivors who continue to live with the lasting effects of that day.

As our Tunnel to Towers Foundation fundraiser comes to a close today, we are grateful to everyone who supported it. Thank you for coming together as a community to honor those who serve and support the families who have sacrificed so much.

Today and always, we will never forget.

We made the news! 📰

Thank you to the Long Island Herald for covering our Ringside Summer Showdown and the incredible support our community showed for the Tunnel to Towers Foundation.

About 300 people joined us at Freeport Self Storage for an afternoon of live professional wrestling, great food, and family fun. Together, we have raised more than $3,000 for Tunnel to Towers.

Thank you to Create A Pro Wrestling Academy, Yelp Long Island, the Freeport Fire Department, our local businesses and vendors, and everyone who helped make the day possible.
