If you've visited Freeport Self Storage, odds are you've already met Georgie — our resident yellow Labrador and unofficial Head of Hospitality.

Calm and patient, with a watchful eye, she's always excited to come to work. On any given day, you might find her making the rounds with our staff, greeting customers at the office, or posted up somewhere sunny, likely snoring. She takes her role seriously — just never too seriously.

We’re looking for someone who takes pride in keeping things clean, organized, and working properly. This is a hands-on role at a clean, climate-controlled storage facility — not outdoor labor in the heat all day.

• Basic repairs — doors, latches, locks, light fixtures
• Prep units for new renters
• Clean hallways, bathrooms, and common areas
• Maintain parking lot and grounds
• Paint, touch-ups, HVAC filters, roof drains
• Keep maintenance logs organized

• Reliable — shows up on time, gets the job done
• Detail-oriented — notices what others miss
• Comfortable with basic tools and hands-on work
• Can work independently
