This is why labor is so expensive. 😳🔧

To replace this vehicle’s A/C evaporator, the entire dashboard had to come out. Yep… ALL of that just to reach one component.

A lot of automotive repairs aren’t expensive because the part costs a fortune — you’re paying for the hours it takes to get to the part, replace it correctly, and put everything back together.

Hundreds of clips, connectors, wires, bolts and trim pieces… and every one has to go back where it belongs.

At Progressive Automotive & Tire, sometimes fixing your A/C means practically taking your car apart first.

Fuel Tank Repair ⛽🔧

Why would a fuel tank need repair—or need to be removed?

There are several reasons:

• Fuel leak or tank damage
• Failed fuel pump or sending unit
• Rust or corrosion
• EVAP system problems
• Damaged fuel lines or connections
• Gasoline accidentally put in a diesel vehicle
• Contaminated fuel

If the wrong fuel goes in, don’t start the vehicle. Starting it can circulate the fuel through the system and turn a simpler fix into a much bigger repair.

Sometimes fixing the problem means the whole fuel tank has to come down.
