We often get asked: "Do I still need to pay if my car doesn't pass inspection?"

The answer is yes. You'll pay the full state safety inspection fee ($20.00 for most passenger vehicles) even if your vehicle fails and gets a rejection sticker. But here's what you should know:

**Re-inspection Option:** If you come back to Lee Hill Auto Service within 15 days, you'll only pay a small re-inspection fee of $1.00. Going to a different station means paying the full fee again.

**Why the initial fee?** You're paying for our inspector's time and expertise to thoroughly check your vehicle, not just for the sticker.

**About rejection stickers:** Your rejection sticker is valid for 15 days, allowing you to legally drive during this period. However, you can still receive tickets for the specific equipment that failed.

**What happens next:** If your vehicle doesn't pass, our Lee Hill Auto Service inspector will place a rejection sticker on your windshield with details about what needs attention.
