🌧️ Weather update for guests traveling to Oakwood this weekend

Heavy rain is possible in the Texas Hill Country later this week, especially Wednesday night through Friday morning. If you’re driving to Fredericksburg, please check the latest weather alerts and road conditions before you leave and again along your route.

Fredericksburg is not on the Guadalupe River through Kerrville, but our area has its own flood risks, including the Pedernales River, creeks, and low-water crossings. Heavy rain can make a crossing unsafe quickly, even when the road ahead looks clear. Never drive through water over a roadway or around a barricade. Turn around and find another route.

Please allow extra travel time and keep weather alerts enabled on your phone. If conditions affect your arrival, call the Oakwood office at 830-997-9817 so we know your plans.
