This 1971 Dodge Charger R/T is one of 98 examples that were manufactured for the model year with a 440ci Six Pack V8 linked with a TorqueFlite three-speed automatic transmission. It was used in Canada by Chrysler Corporation before being sold in October 1970 with about 3k miles on its odometer by Gardner Motors of Medicine Hat, Alberta, to a person who worked as a mechanic at that dealership. That first private owner is said to have sold the car in 1974 and—after it was refurbished around 2000 under separate ownership—bought it back in 2010 and retained the Charger until mid-2024. Finished in Bright White with black accents and a black vinyl top over black and orange upholstery, the Dodge is equipped with an Edelbrock intake manifold, a Sure Grip differential, 3.91:1 final-drive gearing, Rallye 15″ wheels, power-assisted front disc brakes, and power steering as well as woodgrain interior trim, a center console, a Slap Stik shifter, a tachometer, an AM radio, concealed headlights, a Ramcharger hood, and a rear wing.
