It’s the little details that make a big difference in yachting! ⚓️✨

At Savvy Maritime Academy, we teach our students how to neatly and professionally place a trash bag inside the trash can—because presentation matters, even when it comes to the trash! 😉

🤫 The secret? Tie a tight knot in the bag, about 1 inch below the top/opening of the trash can. This keeps the bag secure, neat, and perfectly in place.

Because on a yacht, even the trash can should look good! 🛥️✨

Before becoming an instructor at Savvy Maritime Academy, I had the privilege of working on some incredible yachts, learning from amazing crews, delivering exceptional guest service, and creating unforgettable experiences on board. Every yacht taught me valuable lessons that I now share with my students to help them build successful careers in the yachting industry.

I don’t just teach from a textbook—I teach from real-life experience, the challenges I’ve faced, the standards I’ve upheld, and the memories I’ve made at sea.
