We wanna give a Huge shoutout to the Howard City Gem Mine for sponsoring kids Night on July 24th. They are putting up $500 to win for the street stocks. And are bringing their mobile sluice, rock painting and the foam machine for a glow foam party at dusk so bring a towel or a change of clothes. We're going to give away glow stuff , light up toys, and more. "While supplies last". There's no charge for the activities other than admission!! We hope to see all you fans and racers on the track.

Due to the forecasted extreme heat index for Friday, July 3, Mid Michigan Raceway Park has made the difficult decision to cancel this week’s racing program.

Additionally, the Firecracker 40 scheduled for Friday night, July 3rd, has been cancelled for 2026. The Street Stocks will instead run for $500 to win on July 24th, which is also kids night and there will be kids rides carnival type games and other activities, The always exciting foam Cannon will be on site. Race action July 24th is sponsored by the Howard City Gem Mine.

While we understand that many were looking forward to an exciting evening of racing, the safety and well-being of our drivers, crews, race officials, fans, and staff must remain our top priority.

This decision was reached after careful consideration and evaluation of the conditions, with the health and safety of all participants and attendees at the forefront.

We sincerely appreciate your understanding and continued support. We wish everyone a safe and enjoyable Independence Day weekend and look forward to welcoming you back to Mid Michigan Raceway Park next Friday JULY 10TH for another exciting night of racing.

We have been approached with several questions about the rules governing the 4-cylinder Friday night $1,000.00 to win show. To provide clarity, the rules are as follows: (1) Only DOT 60 series street tires are allowed no lower than 360 tread wear (2) The right-side tires must have at least 32 pounds of air at the completion of the event. (3) The maximum size for exhaust pipes or headers is 2 1/2 inches. (4) A fuel cell is required. (5) Full safety gear is mandatory. (6) A race receiver, set to channel 321, is also required.

📣 Mid Michigan Raceway Park – June 19, 2026 Racing Cancellation Notice 📣
To our racers, teams, fans, and supporters:
Mid Michigan Raceway Park WILL NOT be holding racing activities on Friday, June 19, 2026.
This decision was made out of respect for the special event being held at Crystal Motor Speedway in honor of Dan Salay. We want to give our regular drivers, crews, and race fans the opportunity to attend and support this important race and celebration of a fellow racer.
At Mid Michigan Raceway Park, we believe the racing community is one family. While we may race at different tracks on different nights, supporting one another is what keeps this sport strong. We encourage everyone to make the trip to Crystal and to be part of a special night honoring Dan's legacy and the racing community he loved.
We appreciate the continued support of our drivers, teams, sponsors, and fans, and we look forward to seeing everyone back at Mid Michigan Raceway Park Next Friday June 26th.
