Statement Regarding the Modified Class for the 2026 Season at Mid-Michigan Raceway Park

After careful consideration, Mid-Michigan Raceway Park has made the difficult decision to discontinue the Modified division for the 2026 racing season due to lack of cars in the class.

This decision was not made lightly. We have always appreciated the passion, dedication, and support of the Modified drivers, crews, sponsors, and fans who have been a valued part of our racing family over the years. The Modified class has provided many exciting moments and has played an important role in the history of Mid-Michigan Raceway Park.

Track owner Gene Henrickson and general manager J.R. Schmid would like to extend their sincere gratitude to every driver and team who has supported our facility. Your commitment to the sport and to our racetrack has meant a great deal to us.

While the Modified division will no longer compete weekly at Mid-Michigan Raceway Park in 2026, we want every driver and team to know that wherever you choose to race, you have our full support. We genuinely hope that you enjoy every lap, every competition, and that you rediscover and continue to experience the love and passion for racing that brought you into this sport in the first place.

Thank you for being part of the Mid-Michigan Raceway Park family. We are grateful for the memories, friendships, and incredible racing that the Modified division has provided, and we wish each and every one of you the very best in the upcoming season and beyond.
