We started with fuel tanks off a freightliner. Had to shorten them 3 inches and cut them up to make a top step and toolbox doors with built in steps. Then alot of sanding and polishing.

The bumper was off a newer tilt bed. Bumper was too wide for the truck so we took 6 inches out of the middle and open the tow hook holes to make one solid opening. Metal finished and hand filed straight so It could go right to chrome.

57 GMC finally heading to the next shop to be gone through mechanically then off to upholstery. Alot of metal work turning a 2 door into a 4 door, and installed a custom built bed. Built some toolboxes/ running boards out of some semi fuel tanks and bodyworked and painted the truck.

Knowing the science behind sheetmetal shaping is more important than equipment. I shaped this fender patch for a 35 cord fwd with a homemade tuck tool, few different body hammers and a peice of railroad track. But upgrading from man power to horsepower really makes it easier. Last year I was able to pick up a planishing hammer and p8 pullmax. Looking forward to some future shaping projects.

Heres the first of many horses coming through the shop. We are stripping these down, repairing any damage, and fully custom painting. We were given some free range and adding alot of details. This one was painted by Josh and hand painted flowers were done by our buddy Mike. Also restoring the tarnished brass poles. Really excited about this project!
