NHC 5pm Bertha updated track & timing. Water is currently up about 18-inches in Orange Beach and will likely rise another 18-24 inches by midday tomorrow. Winds are steady at 60 MPH near the center and currently about 20-25 MPH out of the East Northeast in Orange Beach.

Spent a little while in Orange Beach today helping clients secure their vessels. Water is currently about 18-in above normal high tide and wind is pretty steady around 20-25 MPH out of the East Northeast. Once the wind shifts out of the South and the storm is closer to our area, we may see a couple more feet of surge showing up inland. If you haven't secured your boat, you should probably consider doing it now!

Please note that fishing licenses will not be available for sale anywhere in the entire state of Alabama from July 13th through the 15th as they upgrade their license system. That includes online and at any retailer. If you need to buy license to fish during those dates you need to do so before they close the system down!
