It has been a super busy week between helping out an awesome customer with getting his head gasket replaced and my own work vehicle needing some much needed repairs. I took the head to have it machined back to spec after over heating and causing it to warp. It runs like a top now. Then I had some issues with my water pump. While I was at it I replaced the lower control arms, rack and pinion, timing belt and many seals. I’m ready for some more work this week! I am catching up with some customers but have plenty of availability this week so please get in touch if you need anything diagnosed or repaired. Even if it’s just an oil change! As always, thank you for all of the shares and support for Rees Automotive! 🙏

This customer had a bad wheel bearing and unfortunately it was not the easy “hub and bearing all in one assembly”. That would be a much easier, in and out, hub replacement with bearing. In this case, a press is needed to remove the hub and bearing from the spindle. Once removed, I assembled the new hub and bearing into the spindle using the press. Then took the spindle back to the customers car and reassembled it. Give Rees Automotive a call today to save a spot for anything from simple maintenance to major repairs or diagnostic!
