๐Ÿ HUNTRESS, CABRAL, BOUCHER, COLE LEAD LIST OF INDEPENDENCE DAY WINNERS AT STAR SPEEDWAY ๐Ÿ

It was a sunny and warm Saturday in Epping as Star Speedway was on track to celebrate the 4th of July with five divisions of action. The Izzett Construction Late Models, Outlaws, Bumpy's Auto Slingshots, Cruisers, and 603 Mini Cups were all on hand Saturday to take part in celebrating America's 250th.

Cam Huntress made a late race pass on eventual second-place finisher Connor Souza to take home the win in the Izzett Construction Late Model main event. Souza closely trailed Huntress to the checkers taking second, with Randy Cole next across the line claiming the final podium spot in third.

The Outlaw Late Models saw veteran driver Bobby Cabral return to victory lane for the first time this season, after taking a few years off from competition. Second place went to Natasha Dyer, while Bobby Melvin Jr. rounded out the top three.

Cody Boucher came out on top of a three car battle in the Bumpy's Auto Slingshot main event to claim checkers Saturday night. Second place went to Jacob Vaughn who battled Boucher hard for the win before settling for runner up honors. Former track champion and multi time winner Gage Osborne took the final podium position in third.

In Cruiser action Randy Cole took home the big $1,000 pay day courtesy of G.E. Brown Excavating and Troy Morse Trucking in a strong field of contenders. Cole edged out Chase Curtis to claim the win, while Mathew Hurteau had a strong showing crossing the line in third.

The 603 Mini Cups were on track as well Saturday for a pair of races. Doc Piper picked up one of the feature wins, while Jake O'leary topped the competition in the other event.

Star Speedway will be back on the track for more racing action on Saturday, July 11. The full event schedule will be posted on the track website early this week.
