FRIDAY, 9/25: Street Night will continue as scheduled.

SATURDAY, 9/26: Due to the forecasted rain & strong winds, racing scheduled for Saturday, September 26 has been canceled. With racers traveling from across New England, we wanted to make the call early so no one has to tow to the track or head home in worsening weather. Safety is the top priorty.

SUNDAY, 9/27: Due to the forecasted nor’easter, racing scheduled for Sunday, September 27 has been canceled. IMPORT FACE OFF HAS BEEN RESCHEDULED TO OCTOBER 18.

THIS WEEK AT NEW ENGLAND DRAGWAY🙌🏼

First, we want to clear up a rumor: the 60th Anniversary Celebration has NOT been moved to this Sunday, 9/20. As much as we would have loved to make that happen, rescheduling the entire event simply wasn’t possible.

The Special Showcase of Historic Drag Cars is the only part of the anniversary celebration moving to this Sunday - & it’s the perfect addition to an already action-packed Camsnappers Old Fashioned Nostlgia Sunday!

SUNDAY EVENT CANCELED

Unfortunately, due to tomorrow’s forecast, we have made the difficult decision to cancel Sunday’s 60th Anniversary Celebration.

We waited as long as we reasonably could, hoping the forecast would turn in our favor. With the Nostalgia Funny Cars, exhibition vehicles, historic drag cars, car show participants & fans traveling from across New England & beyond, we needed to make the call today.

This is especially disappointing during a weekend meant to celebrate 60 years of New England Dragway. A tremendous amount of time& effort went into planning Sunday, & we know how many of you were looking forward to being here.

Thank you to everyone who planned to race, display a car, perform or attend - & to everyone who helped bring the celebration together behind the scenes.

We may not get the Sunday we planned, but one day of weather cannot erase 60 years of history. Thank you for continuing to be part of it.

TODAY, NEW ENGLAND DRAGWAY TURNS 60.

On September 11, 1966, the first cars rolled through the gates & down the track. No one standing here that day could have known just how many lives this place would become part of.

For 60 years, New England Dragway has been built & carried forward by racers, fans, families, shareholders, employees, & volunteers. Generations have celebrated wins here, worked through losses, broken records, made friends & created memories that extend far beyond the finish line.

A racetrack is made of asphalt, concrete & steel. But this one has lasted six decades because of its PEOPLE.

This weekend is about celebrating all of them & everything that has happened here since opening day - September 11, 1966.

The forecast looks good for tonight & Saturday. Sunday is questionable, but we’ve watched New England weather make complete changes before... **We are not calling Sunday off at this time.** An official update will be posted Saturday morning by 10AM.

We hope you’ll be here Friday, Saturday, & hopefully Sunday to celebrate the track, its history & the people who have kept it going for 60 years!
