I know the weather doesn't really feel like it. But.... Summer is almost over. Kids are back to school. Football season is around the corner, and Saturday, August 29th is the Englewood Block Party. We are proud to be sponsoring it this year. This is the event that caused us to start sponsoring Englewood events because we had a great time going the last two years.

We will not have a booth at the event, but we want everybody to come out and have a great time.

With the 3400 block of South Broadway closed, it’s time to party! Gather your friends, family and neighbors and celebrate the Englewood community. With food trucks, concerts, beer and cocktails for purchase, kids’ activities and local vendor booths, there’s so much to enjoy for all ages.

Summer time is getting busy, it's only 8 days until our 10 year anniversary celebration. June 27th from 5:00 until 9:00 will be having our party at the shop. 3701 S. Santa Fe dr. In englewood. BBQ will be served by Smokin’ Outlaw Kitchen at 6:00. We will be holding a raffle at 7:00 for some great prizes. LandLocked Ales will be supplying the beer and we will have cake, popsicles, and snacks throughout the party. We can't wait to see everybody there.

So what's your favorite car? I fell in love with corvettes as a kid, and this has always been one of my favorites, the 1957. It was the first corvette with a v-8 engine and a four speed manual transmission. Fuel injection has been standard on cars for about 40 years now, but the 1957 corvette had a primitive, non computer controlled version. However, the best thing about the '57 corvette to me, it's just a beautiful car.
