⚡️Several shakedown runs today dialing the carb in. It’s all there. This thing runs like a scalded dog with a warrant.

⚡️Four straight days of wrenching, chasing every little gremlin until they packed their bags and moved on to somebody else’s garage.

⚡️The paint shines like a diamond, but underneath all that shine is the same old bare knuckle chopper built to be ridden, not admired.

⚡️The Disciple is finished. Done deal. Funny how four days of busted knuckles turn into one twist of the throttle and suddenly it all makes sense.

⚡️The Disciple has risen. Buttoned up the wiring this morning, all circuits are a go. Performed a blood transfusion and I’m off for some of that liquid that goes boom.

⚡️Exhaust is buttoned up. Today is all about chasing wires and making sense of the madness. If all goes according to plan, this old girl ought to be breathing fire tomorrow.

⚡️The Disciple is about ready to quit being garage art and get back to doing what God intended motorcycles to do… shred blacktop. Just a little wiring left and a handful of odds and ends. You know… the last 5% of the job that somehow takes about half the build.

⚡️I’ve always said wrenching is a lot like life. Anybody can make a mess. Putting it back together the right way takes patience. The Good Lord’s blessed me with plenty of opportunities to learn that lesson.

⚡️If all goes according to plan, she’ll bark to life here real soon. And if she doesn’t… well… that’s why they make test lights, coffee and tomorrow.
