Have you decided it's not a good time to buy a new vehicle? If you keep driving the one you have now, be sure to keep up on it's needed maintenance. It's a lot cheaper than a car payment. We just had a lady come in that had purchased a new set of tires from one of the big box tire stores. They didn't tell her to recheck the tire pressures in a few hundred miles. Checking pressures is something we automatically due to every vehicle that comes through our shops. She had 1 tire almost 5 lbs low, one tire spot on and two tires 3 pounds over what they should have been. Exact tire pressures depend on a lot of things, but correct pressures get you the best fuel mileage and longest wear from your tires. Always use the tire pressures noted on the door sticker, not the pressures noted on the sidewall of the tire.
