The BRC consists of Brackenridge Park & Campground, Texana Park & Campground, and the Brackenridge Main Event Center. The complex is owned and operated by the Lavaca-Navidad River Authority. Brackenridge Park & Campground situated on 240 acres overlooking Lake Texana. The park has 118 Back-In Campsites, 16 Pull-Through Campsites, 5 - 2 Bedroom, 1 Bath Cabins, Hike and Bike Trails, Miniature Golf,

Disc Golf, home to the Brackenridge Family Cemetery, a Fish Catch & Release Pond, Gaga Ball Pit, Playgrounds, and so much more! Texana Park & Campground, formerly Lake Texana State Park is situated on 590 acres across Highway 111 from Brackenridge Park and the Main Event Center. It boasts 141 campsites, with a large day use area, nature center and over 6 miles of winding hike and bike nature trails. There are 2 - 3 bedroom, 2 bath houses available for rent. Texana Park is also home to the NEW Texana Community Education Center where guests can get up close and personal to several critters such as snakes, alligators, lizards, and MORE! The Brackenridge Main Event Center opened up in 2009 and hosts numerous events from concerts, fairs, rodeos, endurance challenges, to the popular, highly attended Texana Chili Spill. The Main Event Center is situated on 187 acres adjacent to Brackenridge Park and Campground. With a convenient location and large, spacious layout it is perfect for conventions, community events, trade shows, arena events and much more. This facility features a covered arena with seating for up to 2,500 people, large covered concrete common area and vendor spaces, meeting rooms, paved parking and much more.

Family, golf and sweet treats! Day 2 of Family Campout Weekend has been absolutely great! We started the morning with a fun round of family golf. Afterward, our campers got creative and made homemade ice cream in a bag! It turned out so yummy! Loving every minute of this weekend. We still have a lot fun memories to make this evening!!
Don’t forget the obstacle course, Craft tent, DJ Glow Dance and the highly anticipated led kite show!!

Today is the day!! Our family campout weekend will wrap up this evening with our LED kite show!

🌟 Here’s everything you need to know before you join us TONIGHT! 🌟

📅 Saturday, July 18
🕔 Event begins at 5:00 PM
📍 Brackenridge Park Basketball Court

🚗 Limited parking will be available in the HHRC parking lot. Overflow parking will be along the Park Road. We will have staff onsite directing guests on where to go!

🪑 Seating is limited, so we encourage everyone to bring a lawn chair and get comfortable for the evening's activities.

🍦 Come hungry! Sweets & Treats by Dive On In will be onsite serving ice cream, frozen lemonades, dessert cups, snacks, and more.

💵 Cash Only! Armbands can be purchased at the event with cash only. Public admission is $10 per person, children 3 and under are FREE, and campers receive 50% off armbands when purchased at the Park Office.

Your admission includes the DJ Glow Dance Party, Craft Tent, Yard Games, Food Truck, and the spectacular LED Kite Show that will light up the night sky! ✨🪁

Our family campout weekend is officially underway, and we had the best first day!
We feasted on hot dogs and s'mores, kids made their way through the obstacle course, and we watched our kite fliers do an amazing test run. 🪁 Watching that kite fly was just awesome!!Can't wait to see what tomorrow evening brings!

Mad scientist mode: ACTIVATED! We had an absolute blast at our Weird Science Adventure Day! The kids got hands-on with some wild experiments and loved every second of the messy fun. Who knew learning could be this exciting?
