The BRC consists of Brackenridge Park & Campground, Texana Park & Campground, and the Brackenridge Main Event Center. The complex is owned and operated by the Lavaca-Navidad River Authority. Brackenridge Park & Campground situated on 240 acres overlooking Lake Texana. The park has 118 Back-In Campsites, 16 Pull-Through Campsites, 5 - 2 Bedroom, 1 Bath Cabins, Hike and Bike Trails, Miniature Golf, Disc Golf, home to the Brackenridge Family Cemetery, a Fish Catch & Release Pond, Gaga Ball Pit, Playgrounds, and so much more! Texana Park & Campground, formerly Lake Texana State Park is situated on 590 acres across Highway 111 from Brackenridge Park and the Main Event Center. It boasts 141 campsites, with a large day use area, nature center and over 6 miles of winding hike and bike nature trails. There are 2 - 3 bedroom, 2 bath houses available for rent. Texana Park is also home to the NEW Texana Community Education Center where guests can get up close and personal to several critters such as snakes, alligators, lizards, and MORE! The Brackenridge Main Event Center opened up in 2009 and hosts numerous events from concerts, fairs, rodeos, endurance challenges, to the popular, highly attended Texana Chili Spill. The Main Event Center is situated on 187 acres adjacent to Brackenridge Park and Campground. With a convenient location and large, spacious layout it is perfect for conventions, community events, trade shows, arena events and much more. This facility features a covered arena with seating for up to 2,500 people, large covered concrete common area and vendor spaces, meeting rooms, paved parking and much more.

This year’s Turtle Edition is packed with opportunities to learn, explore, and get up close with some incredible wildlife. 🌿🐢 We’ll have educational and interactive booths featuring wildlife, conservation, reptiles, birds, native plants, and more!

Jackson County is currently under a Burn Ban. Until further notice, NO ground fires are permitted within our Parks or Campground areas. This includes fires in designated fire rings.

♨️ BBQ grills are permitted with charcoal only.
🚫 No wood-burning fires are allowed.

We appreciate everyone’s cooperation in helping us keep our parks, guests, and surrounding areas safe.

The Lavaca-Navidad River Authority and the Brackenridge Recreation Complex proudly congratulate the Lo**ta Volunteer Fire Department on being selected as this year’s recipient of proceeds from the 2nd Annual Run for the Red, White, and Blue 5K Fun Run!

Funds were raised through event registration fees, with a commitment to donate 50% of the proceeds to a local first responder organization. We are grateful to all who participated and helped make the event a tremendous success. Congratulations to the Lo**ta Fire Department!❤️

Our very first Family Campout Weekend was so much fun.

What a great weekend filled with families, campfires, s’mores, kites and memories made. It was refreshing to see families unplugging, spending quality time together, and making the most of the outdoors.

Family, golf and sweet treats! Day 2 of Family Campout Weekend has been absolutely great! We started the morning with a fun round of family golf. Afterward, our campers got creative and made homemade ice cream in a bag! It turned out so yummy! Loving every minute of this weekend. We still have a lot fun memories to make this evening!!
Don’t forget the obstacle course, Craft tent, DJ Glow Dance and the highly anticipated led kite show!!
