**$30–$45 per hour, based on experience and certifications**
Know your way around a boat’s engine room? All Power NJ is looking for skilled, dependable marine technicians who take pride in quality repairs and getting the job done right.
**QUALIFICATIONS**
• At least 3 years of hands-on marine maintenance and repair experience preferred.
• Experience diagnosing and servicing outboard, inboard, and sterndrive engines.
• Strong troubleshooting skills with marine electrical, fuel, cooling, and charging systems.
• Ability to read service manuals, wiring diagrams, and diagnostic information.
• Ability to complete assigned repairs independently and work well with a team.
• Reliable attendance, attention to detail, and clear communication.
• Manufacturer certifications or ABYC credentials are a plus. Diesel and generator experience is highly valued.
**JOB DUTIES**
• Diagnose mechanical and electrical problems and recommend appropriate repairs.
• Perform oil changes, lower-unit service, tune-ups, and routine maintenance.
• Repair and replace pumps, impellers, belts, hoses, batteries, and other components.
• Perform winterization and spring commissioning.
• Troubleshoot onboard systems within your area of expertise.
• Inspect and test completed repairs to verify proper operation.
• Accurately document labor, parts used, findings, and completed work.
• Maintain a clean, organized work area and follow safe marine service practices.
