There's a new kid in town! A good friend brought this fantastic '55 Ford in from SoCal and I was given the privilege of giving it an all over polish and ceramic sealant. This truck made its Colorado show debut last weekend at the All Ford Picnic and Show in Golden and today I got it shined up.

Hey followers. After a brief hiatus, I am back on the '40 Coupe project. It has been a while. Sometimes the primary vocational and just life gets in the way of the avocation. I am on temp electric in the shop due to some tree damage from the recent snow. But things could be much worse. More to come soon.

PROJECT '40 COUPE + a little touch up on a '40 Sedan! Today was all the intricate details on the passenger side of the coupe. Window frames, body contour, the trunk jambs, etc. Then bonus! Worked out a little garage scuff on the fender of a friend's '40 2dr Sedan. Next weekend I'll be taking a break for Tri State Auto Exhibition. PROJECT '40 COUPE UPDATE: This weekend we concentrated on the A-pillars, cowel & firewall. Tight spaces and a lot of intricate contours & detail that add time to the job & require patience. Turned out very well, I think. Comment below and tell me what you think.

"Detailers are not cleaners." Folks. This is why YOU need to regularly wash your vehicle in winter! Touchless is best but I'd say it would even be better to use a tunnel brush wash and fix the marring later than to have this kind of salt etching. When a new car or truck is $45K to $90K or more why ruin it by not washing?
