Forever Saturday Customs

Forever Saturday Customs We LOVE classic cars, trucks and bikes! Building them is great, but DRIVING them down the road is the ultimate rush! Some we keep, some we sell.

We have been building cars, trucks, and motorcycles forever, and since we love what we do, everyday seems like Saturday, and that's where the name comes from! We are always buying projects to turn into daily drivers. If you have a old truck, car or motorcycle, send us a few pictures and some information about it.

TERRIFIC TRUCK TUESDAY...1960s FORD ECONOLINE TRUCK!
Ford's F series trucks were huge sellers, so why this style? πŸ€” This was Ford's answer to the popular VW cabover style of truck - roomier cab, lighter weight vehicle, usable working bed. The "E" series trucks were only made from 1961-67, but still had their niche with farmers and delivery driversπŸ†.

The early cars were all "convertibles" as they were all open air. In 1939, Plymouth introduced the first mechanically operated convertible roof. The convertible design was mass marketed by Hudson in 1948, and of course everyone hopped on board after that.

TERRIFIC TRUCK TUESDAY...1969 DODGE D100!
The Chrysler corporation introduced the D series trucks in 1960 as a tough worker for farming and construction. However, they couldn't resist trying to refine the trucks' appearance. The 1968-1971 models were given a more rounded design, and these trucks today are still called "Sweptlines".
