Firebird Raceway

Firebird Raceway Firebird Raceway offers events from late-March through mid-October, including the Nightfire Nationals every August.

Firebird Raceway is a family run facility sanctioned by the National Hot Rod Association. For better than five decades, Idaho's largest motorsport's facility has offered events starting in late-March and continuing through the end of October. Racers compete at Firebird from all over the nation at a wide-variety of races. The track's most popular events include the Ignitor, the Nightfire and Halloween Classic in October.

TBT: The excitement continues to build for the 55th Annual Nightfire Nationals presented by Bi-Mart, returning to Firebird August 7-9.

Here's a look back at one of the great Top Fuel qualifying battles from nearly one year ago, as Tyler Hilton and Pete Kaiser squared off at sunset. Hilton powered the Great Expectations dragster to a low e.t. pass of 5.65 seconds, edging Kaiser's strong 5.75 effort in a memorable side-by-side showdown.

The thunder, the flames and the ground-shaking horsepower all return in just a few weeks. We can't wait to do it again.

Idaho's largest racing event of the season is almost here!

The 55th Annual Nightfire Nationals presented by Bi-Mart returns to Firebird August 7-9 for three days and nights of championship drag racing, unforgettable performances and family fun.

Celebrating the 75th Anniversary of the NHRA, this year's lineup features AA/Nitro Funny Cars, Fuel Dragsters, Fuel Altereds, Pro Mods, Jet Cars and much more. It's Firebird's signature event of the season and one of the Northwest's premier drag racing traditions.

Looking forward to the Midnight Grudge Drags returning to the quarter mile this coming Saturday night (7/18).

Staged under the lights from 8 pm till midnight, the night features head-to-head grudge racing and your next chance to become a member of the 100 MPH club.

The final round in Bracket #2 at the fourth race in the Club Challenge Series presented by Fairly Reliable Bob's, Inc., saw JR Boyett collect top honors.

As the co-captain of the Melba Outlaws, Boyett hit a .035 light and posted a 11.46 (11.50 dial) 113.10 to upend Bret Ward with the Mopar Mafia club who finished further under at (.083 r.t.) 12.05 on a 12.12 dial - 112.81.

The next Club stop will take place on Friday, July 31.
