Following our Link PDM post, here’s a look at how we handle dedicated fuel-pump power with a CONVENTIAL relay setup.

No CAN bus required. Factory or standalone ECU control, with a dedicated power feed bypassing the original pump wiring.

Shown is a TE relay rated for 70A+ continuous duty, with power terminals accommodating up to 4 AWG.

This assembly features:

• 10 AWG M22759/16 wire
• Tight-fitting 3/16” DR-25 protection
• SCL-sealed ends
• Standard VTI yellow identification labels
• Two-pin connector for the relay trigger circuit
•30-50a inline battery fuse protection

The focus is low resistance, minimal voltage drop, and reliable switching under load. Wire sizing, terminations, and protection all matter just as much as the relay itself.

We’ve run dual Hellcat pumps on a single one of these 70A relays with current headroom in that setup. Each application gets sized around its actual current demand, startup load, and duty cycle.

This one is being paired with a full custom VTI Link G5 Voodoo harness for a big-turbo B-series build.
This PDM will directly control all high power modules included 3 fans and a large fuel pump.

Custom OEM-replica harness for a drive-by-wire AP2 S2000. Built as a complete plug-and-play replacement using mil-spec wire and materials, with high-heat braided sleeving in Spoon Sports-inspired blue.

The customer started a DIY reloom and sent us their color references. We built a new harness around the factory layout to bring their idea together. Photos include the original harness they brought us and the replacement.

Thanks to for helping behind the scenes. We’re also working together on drop-in harness and ECU packages designed to get customers plugged in and driving the same day.

Covering a majority of OBD1 ecu platforms, these purpose built and designed Motorsport looms are for those looking to step above the off-the-shelf and common “universal” “tucked” harnesses.

True full length MIL wire, ZERO splices, color ident marked, and completely twisted to near perfection. With simple plug and play set up, and additional seamless options, these are a one-and-done unit.

Busy, busy, busy, I guess that’s our moto over here at VTI recently. Lots of good, clean, planned builds being produced behind the scenes as always.

We are looking to bring in some part-time help with social media managing, footage posting and organizing, overall media exposure.

Currently VTI is solely owned, operated, managed, and labored by one human. It’s a lot to do and handle considering our current standing, and I feel you guys deserve more frequent views of behind-the-scenes and product shots to keep things real.

Shoot us a DM if this is something you have good prior experience and success with and we can make something happen!

In the meantime I’ll try to get some more time set aside to show off some current projects and builds!
