Last week in Dover: this Ford came in with a starting complaint — slow crank, worse when it was cold. Scans and voltage tests showed it was low on coolant, and a bad coil pack was keeping it from firing right. New coil packs, fresh spark plugs, coolant topped off — and it starts just fine.

The twist? It was never the starter. Ford's low-coolant protection was holding it back.
