Got a call about 3 Atvs that don’t run and the customer requested on site repairs. Although we are fully capable of minor on site repairs we always prefer to be at the shop with all the supplies and tools to do the job correctly. Could we have got them running on site, yes no questions asked. However it turned into a handful of other issues that would not have been address in one trip out. Let alone our mechanics working out in the heat. We volunteered to just pick them up as he only lived about 10 minutes from the shop. All 3 needed carburetors cleaned and rebuilt, new batteries, petcocks and fuel systems flushed as well as a few brakes unstuck. If you can’t haul it to the shop do not be afraid to ask about our pickup and delivery options!

Got a call from a customer about a no start issue on a sportsman 570, he dropped it off the next day and we had it diagnosed and parts ordered the same day he dropped it off. We checked all the basics, once those checked out we went ahead and hooked up to it with our new Polaris Digital Wrench software (same as the dealers use). We were able to quickly check a few things as well as run the engine codes. We found it was having a problem getting power to the injector. Some troubleshooting and we found a bad wire, once we had that fixed we fired it up and it would run for about 30 seconds and die out. A quick fuel pressure test informed us it had low fuel pressure and customer asked for a new fuel pump and to clean any old gas and sediment out of the tank. Our customer recently had purchased the machine and it ran and drove at that time but had been sitting. We always recommend making sure to run your machines routinely and to use quality fuel.

Got a call from a new customer wanting a second opinion on his Rzr 800 not wanting to run properly. We found that it had dropped compression on one cylinder and was due for a top end rebuild. Our 360 inspection also found it needed a arm bushings, brake pads, ball joints, and freshened up his steering with a new rack and tie rod ends!

Suzuki rmz450 came in for some clutch repairs, customer had just recently purchased it and bought it with the clutch problems. Luckily our inspection found it just needed a clutch rebuild kit and the clutch basket etc was all still in good shape. After a clutch rebuild and an oil change this Suzuki is back to shredding the Woods.

Suzuki eiger 400 4x4 came in not wanting to run. Our 360 inspection found it had zero spark. We hate to assume the worst...

Suzuki eiger 400 4x4 came in not wanting to run. Our 360 inspection found it had zero spark. We hate to assume the worst but these Suzuki Eiger’s are notorious for the magnets coming loose from the flywheel and machine loosing spark. New flywheel and stator installed and this eiger is back to sparking. After a carburetor cleaning and rebuild this eiger is back to running like a top.

2022 can am renegade 110 came in with what the customer thought was a wiring problem, turns out the starter just decided to go out on him. Since starter rebuild kits are not readily available for these we got him fixed up with a new oem starter.

We got a call from a customer wondering if we would take a look at his Pro XP and get with his 3rd party extended warranty company for the repairs. What he thought was a bad transmission was actually just a seized primary clutch from the previous owners neglect. He had just purchased this machine a few months before and only got one ride out of it before these issues came up. Our 360 inspection also found it needed front left an arm bushings, and a lower ball joint. While it was in here for the extended warranty work he went ahead and had us wrap up the repairs with a full fluid and filter service so he could be confident in his “new” rig.

This northstar crew cab went for the ride of its life out at the Moab in Utah’s desert. Unfortunately near the end of the trip the transmission gave up and busted a whole in the cases and also bent the middle prop shaft. We got the customer hooked up with a remanufactured transmission from CW motorsports and a new Superatv HD prop shaft and new bearing carriers. Our inspection of the primary clutch during reassembly found it also needed the clutch bearing replaced as well. This northstar spends most of its life on the farm but boy did it see some trails out at the Moab.
