The Ford SHPE team is on-site in Indianapolis this weekend for the Society of Hispanic Professional Engineers National Convention, connecting with and inspiring the next generation of engineering talent.

Andy Fradkin, senior director of AI strategy and acceleration, and Diana Rodarte, software engineer in enterprise AI, led a fireside chat on AI, Innovation and the Future of Business. They shared Ford’s AI strategy with a full house of attendees eager to learn more.

We’re also celebrating senior engineer Roberto Teran, who received a STAR Award for Community Service. Congratulations on making your team proud, Roberto!

The career fair expo continues throughout the weekend, bringing together talented people from across the tech community. We hope to see many of you at Ford soon!

“Don’t fear the unknown or the uncomfortable,” says Taylor Boykin, Ford zone manager and North Carolina A&T alumna. “That’s what leads to growth.”

Taylor took a step into the unknown as she entered the Ford College Graduate Program, which led to her current job in Ford's Marketing, Sales & Service division.

Now located in Dallas, Taylor acts as the bridge between Ford and dealerships, and passes on guidance to the next graduating class of her alma mater and students everywhere.

The Ford SHPE team will be at the Society of Hispanic Professional Engineers conference in Indianapolis next week to talk to students, grads and professionals about engineering opportunities at Ford. As one of the country's largest annual gatherings of talent in STEM, Ford is proud to be a part of the experience with our own workshop - Inside the Blue Oval: Insights from a Ford Executive.

Attendees will also get the chance to meet with our onsite team, including Breanna Alvarez, high voltage battery quality lead. For her, volunteering to support SHPE is personal, and she's excited to help talent learn more about how they can grow, give back and build what matters at Ford.
