As a leading brand of sugar on the West Coast of the United States, C&H® Sugar has been a pantry favorite since 1906. Twenty-five sugar ships per year deliver 800,000 tons of raw sugar to the C&H Sugar Crockett Refinery, where it is refined and packaged into more than 100 grades and package sizes of premium products, which are shipped by truck and rail throughout the western United States. ckett Refinery employs more than 465 people and supports an additional 190 positions through trucking, terminal operations, cargo handling and ship piloting. For nearly 120 years, the C&H Sugar refinery in Crockett has been more than a manufacturing facility. It has been a cornerstone of Bay Area economic life, a source of stable, well-paying jobs, and a business that has earned strong community support for generations.
