Last Saturday this super clean 66 Falcon came in on the tow truck with a no start/no run condition! We got it running but diagnosed the problem to the carburetor. The carburetor was removed and is now at our rebuilder, nobody makes an exact replacement and some of the parts are obsolete. Fortunately, our rebuilder has a massive inventory of NOS parts for these old Autolite units.

Today was bittersweet as we said goodbye to Rey's 67 Mustang Coupe! Nearly 20 months ago we literally dragged this car into the shop after it had broken down on the road a mere half mile away. The cause was a cracked cylinder wall after ingesting the air cleaner bolt. The 69 302 block was scrapped and after sourcing a 97 5.0 block it's now sporting a very strongly built 347 stroker. The 4-speed top loader was also replaced with a World Class T-5 5-speed, and the cooling system was upgraded with a 4-row Champion Cooling big block aluminum radiator with aluminum shroud and dual Spal electric fans. Rey is a Golden Gate Mustang Club member and will have the car on display at the Stangz on the Straits car show along with other club members cars the end of October so come by and check it out.

The 68 Mustang Convertible went home today, next up is the brake upgrade on the 65 Mustang Coupe!

MUSTANG CLUB CHALLENGE CUP UPDATE!!!

There are 2 shows left on the schedule for the Mustang Club Challenge. September 19th is the Sacramento Area Mustang Club car show at Universal Technical Institute and the final show Stangz on the Straits in Crockett at the Scout Hall. Stangz on the Straits has a 50-car limit with 20 cars registered so far, the CUP will be presented during the awards and this is the last chance to get points for your club!

Here are the top 4 clubs in points as they stand now:

Sacramento Area Mustang Club 110 points

We just completed the custom exhaust for this 67 Mustang Coupe. Ho**er ceramic coated headers, 2.5" midpipes, Borla 2.5" SS mufflers, and 2.25" tailpipes with original GT style max flow 2.5" SS tips.
