About us

New Vintage Automotive was founded in 2009 under a series of key fundamentals that other shops were not living up to.
1. Offer the highest level of customer satisfaction
2. Never cut quality for price

4. Maintain a positive image to the community and the customer

We feel that by having these fundamentals in place, helps us provide the best service to our community and potential customers. We also maintain a clean as can be environment for our customers and onlookers to browse our facility. In the fall of 2009, owner Keith Lundholm opened New Vintage Automotive and have been servicing not only the local needs, but a national need for restoration work.

Other than white needing to be tweaked, the connectors are ready to produce for the GT, already have the female ones in stock

We are getting one step closer on Opel GT dashboards. The 3D print is being packed up and I will be able to fit it and make note of changes that need to be made. Please know we are not 3D printing dashes, they will be produced like originals with metal frames and foam. The 3D print is just a necessary step before having very expensive molds produced.

1972 Strato Blue GT getting the old transmission out for a 5 speed. Fixing some wiring issues and taking care of a few maintenance items. Installing our air conditioning as well.

It’s all down hill for this GT now. It seems once I have them running pretty decently, and can move it under its own power, the road to out the door is quickly approaching

So a wrap up to a long 4 days at Mecum Auction in Nashville, TN. Connected with several Opel folks, being about 1 hour from home, I saw many local friends, and the weather was great. I feel the car really got a lot of attention, and kind of put the Kadett Rallye back on the map with Opels in general. It’s usually all about the GT. Looks like the car will be heading home to Detroit, as the car was still there for shipping. Wish I could have taken pictures of all the cars there, I just don’t need that all in my phone. Special thanks goes out to James R Dunham, and Scott Fitzgerald for getting me into this auction and allowing me to represent our work.

Was pretty pleased with the results at Mecum. Also met with several people and have some potential other cars sold as a result.

Couldn’t ask for a better place to be staged in all day. Car is one of the last to go across, but it’s one of the first cars you see when coming in!
