New Vintage Automotive was founded in 2009 under a series of key fundamentals that other shops were not living up to.

We feel that by having these fundamentals in place, helps us provide the best service to our c

ommunity and potential customers. We also maintain a clean as can be environment for our customers and onlookers to browse our facility. In the fall of 2009, owner Keith Lundholm opened New Vintage Automotive and have been servicing not only the local needs, but a national need for restoration work.

Fixing up my Peterson TCM-25 Valve seat and guide machine. The place I sent heads to the guy retired, and I want to dabble with Opel heads. I’ll still have some procedures done locally like cleaning the surface, and final clean. We will see where it leads…if anything I have a glorified drill press.

Kind of an end of an era for us. For probably 10-12 years we have rented a corner building to house our parts and spares, glass and basically a catch all. We would arrange it and in three months it would be a mess again. Also served as a gun shop for 9 of those years. We are finally 100% free of rent. I was able to get everything in shipping containers that we own on our site. Crazy to see this building empty again after all these years, but I won’t miss it.

Who is on board? We are not doing a Pre-Sale, but rather a Pre-Commitment of the purchase of a dash. I will also post this on OpelGT.(com) and here on Facebook, so only answer once either on Facebook here, or on OpelGT.(com) so I can get an accurate count. The details are as followed…
Only three colors, Black, Tan, Red.
Price should be $1400 each. Colors might be a few bucks more. With the price of Just Dashes reaching @2800-3500 (tan) now seems like the best time to get this done, and then no 4 month wait either to get a repaired dash.

So let me know if you are committed to a dash or more, and what color as a post comment. We still have some steps to do, like get the 3D printed sample. 1st quarter 2027 is very possible if we get enough commitments.
