Hey friends! We honestly don't have the time to make a fancy post with a cutesy image to boost views. We're just here to say.....

We DESPERATELY need adoptions!!!! Please please please, view our website and check out some amazing cats and dogs that we are overflowing with, and submit an application.

We are quite short staffed at the moment, and while we are eager to adopt out as many as we can, we will only have one counselor available. If you walk in, please be patient with us while we work diligently to help as many customers and facilitate as many adoptions as we are able to.

We are open today 12-4:30; animal visitations will stop at 4:00.

Just a couple of hours around lunchtime can make a lasting impact for someone counting on us.

So far, it looks like it is going to be 'Girls' Night" at Bark in the Park with the Kannapolis Cannon Ballers ! Gates open at 6 PM, first pitch 7 PM. Bring your furry family member to the game and meet these featured adoptable girls: Blossom from Kreitzer's Critter Corral Puppy Rescue and Gumdrop from Care & Control More dogs will be attending for you to meet.

Cabarrus County Animal Services will be here checking microchips to ensure that if you and your beloved pet are ever separated, you can be reunited. We will send you home with the information you need to verify that your contact information is up to date and that the chip is working correctly. Reunions are a big part of keeping pets and people together!
