In 1993 at 35 South Franklin Street in Delaware, OH, Cycle Search International was founded by Ray So. The idea behind Cycle Search International was to wholesale and exports motorcycles. The business model worked very well, and motorcycles were sold and shipped worldwide. Cycle Search International started buying and selling salvage motorcycles and used parts and exporting. Around the turn of the
century, the business had outgrown its 4000 SF warehouse, and an additional 10,000 SF warehouse was added. In 2010 Independent Motorsports was established at 3930 South High Street in Columbus, Ohio. The export, wholesale, and salvage business in Delaware, Ohio, was shut down to allow Independent Motorsports to focus on reconditioning and selling high-quality used motorcycles. Today we are a full-service dealership selling primarily used motorcycles. We have two new brands, Benelli and SSR, which both make great motorcycles. We usually have over 100 new and used Motorcycles, Dirt Bikes, Side by Sides, and ATVs in stock. The Finance department will work tirelessly to get your application approved. Our Parts and Accessories department can get everything you need to outfit you and your motorcycle. Our Service department can install your purchased parts and typically do same-day maintenance on your vehicle. Not only do we sell Powersports, but we buy them too!
