Now this is a sweet ride here. Installed seat cover backs and waiting on parts for the air filter and cabin filter. Cleaned and treated battery terminals. Gonna have to test drive it tomorrow to ensure the seat covers are good! Everything else looks good. 07 Corvette

So 15 Acadia came in for check engine light and running and sounding bad. Vehicle was 4 1/2 quarts low on oil. Customers had her oil changed in June in Choctaw I won't say where she can if she wants. Added the oil and immediately saw oil on the floor before I even started it. I'll post a couple videos of what I found. Place she had oil changed said they didn't do it. All I can say is the drain plug had been stripped at some time and a heli coil installed don't know who did that. But pictures will show heli coil is broken from over torquing and she had her oil changed in June. Drain plug popped out wiping it with a rag and wiggling it by hand that's how close she was to losing all her oil.

2019 Kia Optima brought to me for hard start and stalling out. Ran the codes none active but stored code. I researched it and found a warranty extension to 15yrs or 150k miles for a cracked fuel filter with the exact code and symptoms. Had customer call dealer and they told him his car wasn't covered under that so he ask me to do it. I said ok but I was a little stumped and researched it again. Then I called Kia care and they confirmed it was covered. They got the dealer on the phone with me and then they confirmed it was covered and the service advisor said man you do good research. I was trying to save the customer money. He had it towed there on July 6th. Finally on the 16th they called him and said they changed the filter but we're having issues they'd call him back. On the 17th they called him and said his fuel pump was bad and warranty extension only covered the cracked filter. Told him it would be a little over $900 and they'd waive the labor. He called me, I called them long story short he had it towed back to me. Just finished it and I can tell you they dorked the fuel pump up pulling it out and just changing the filter and I know exactly what they did wrong. So along the process they made a list of things he needed done and sent it to him. One of the critical items was the serpentine belt which it did need changed. So I replaced the fuel pump/filter assembly and the serpentine belt for just under $400 including parts.They wanted just over $1200 to do those two jobs.

2011 BMW 328i came in with busted coolant reservoir and no cap. We're gonna replace it and hopefully something else didn't cause it other than a 15 year old brittle tank. Also has leaking fuel pressure regulator under the rear seat. Gonna verify the reservoir issue is good before going forward with the fuel leak.
