One of the most important and convenient pieces for converting your ice bundle into an all season fish catching machine is the LarMac 360 LLC track mount for Arc Lab shuttles. You bolt a Quick dock plate onto the top and slide it into 3" wide tracks made by numerous companies.

They are easy to install, turns with firm pressure so it will not rotate on its own and very sturdy! Guide and rigger approved in my opinion. How many of you are running one?

Now that I have your attention, a fresh batch of Arc Lab Shuttles arrived and we are already building em with the new Livescope 2! Both the LVS42HD Ice and the LVS44 transducers are in stock now, we can set them up with a plethora of screen options including the Ultra 10, 12 or 16" units, the new 9000 series of units with 4k resolution or the remaining 8000 units at a smoking deal.

Comparing ducer size to that of the Livescope XR they are not very compact now that the brains are inside of the transducer. The weight has definitely improved tho. These are all powered by the 30 or 50ah Norsk batteries and wired in house with a full warranty and customer service to boot!

Now here is that giveaway question, How much does this Ultra 10 Deluxe Shuttle with 30ah battery and LVS42HD Ice transducer set up weigh? (The custom Blue one) I am looking for a decimal weight in pounds, i.e. 54.78 pounds (the weight everyone claimed the first livescope ice bundle was going to weigh oh so many years ago)

As for those 8000 units we are getting down to the end of them and when they gone they gone!

Here is a small tidbit for the bigger boats looking to add a 72" trolling motor. Minnkota is out of stock for the season on 72" Terrova Quest models, the warehouse is out of them as is all of our distributors we purchase through.

That said I was able to track down three of them and they are available to you the best Big Fish customers arround! So if you know someone searching for one without luck or if we had to put an Ulterra on instead of a Terrova reach out before they are gone!

What about your fridge? No worries we have had the fridge going for a month and it is at 100% every day thanks to the solar panels we installed. Now what about the food in your fridge? Sure you were plugged in while you were gone but did the last storm knock out power and possibly spoil the food which is now cold again?

Inverter back up with lithium batteries can save you a headache and possibly some food poisioning! With the Victron App you can even look backwards and confirm loss of power events or lack thereof.

Do you camp or adventure with your fish house? We run a window AC unit instead of a power hungry rooftop model for less than 600 watts of energy traded for comfort. Once cooled it uses much less to maintain temperature.

We may not have a Marina on the Great Lakes but we certainly work on a lot of great lakes boats thanks to our central location! In fact its only a bit over 2 hours to Lake Superior and 3 hours to Green Bay. That same 3 hours the opposite direction will put us on Mille Lacs even.

Many have learned it is worth the drive for the knowledge and attention to detail that Big Fish offers! When it comes to the big water a radar is not just a luxury it is crucial in getting back safely when the fog rolls in.

Radars need to be mounted above your line of sight to avoid RF Radiation and the best way to accomplish this is to install a Fish On Sports Radar Arch. While not your typical candidate for an arch this Warrior 238 lives solely on big water!

We raised the dome above the level of the reels for a full 360° view while also tipping it down just a couple of degrees to ensure it sees targets in front of the boat, especially when you start nosing the bow up in rougher weather.

Some arches bolt right up, this arch we had to make fit. Each tube was trimmed and holes positioned to toe in the front legs, the zipwake controller was relocated and mounting plates were fabricated to match the boat nicely!

If you fish a ton you can even add a visor similar to a bimini to keep the sun off the driver, from there night vision and solar are a simple addition as is a starlink for communication in no mans land. I chose that route on my own boat and I do not have to plug in to charge.

We have installed several of the new Livescope 2 transducers at the shop and will have a fresh batch shipping on Friday if you are looking to get your hands on one!

I spent some time on the water with the LVS42HD and have feedback from customers who are currently running the LVS44. Here is what I am coming up with so far.

LVS42HD
Large footprint
Adjustable Perspective mount allows 0°, 7.5°, 15° and 22.5° settings as well as 0° Forward and Down
Reduced bait viewing distance 35' or less for small baits (1/16oz jigs) further for larger baits
Perspective is quite clean in shallow water
Baits and small fish show up as very small marks
Fish stick out incredibly well and are quite detailed
Wood appears less dense than the LVS34
Not a sole replacement to the LVS34 imo best in combination with the 34 or 44

LVS44
Slightly Larger footprint
Adjustable Perspective mount allows 0°, 7.5°, 15° and 22.5° settings as well as 0° Forward and Down
See baits out or down to 100' but not much deeper than that
Sorry Lake Trout Guys not a replacement to the 62
Reports of trolled salmon baits back 150 but havent put to the test yet
Bait returns appear about equal to LVS34 size
If you are choosing one transducer go with the 44 especially if you prefer longer casts and watching your bait on screen.

The Kraken install is quite simple and now two transducers will easily fit in the shaft with the smaller connector! It uses the same Kraken bracket as the other transducers and you simply apply a new selector disc to it.

Our Big Fish Dual Livescope bracket for Kraken trolling motors will have mounts to match shortly if you are interested in the best of both worlds on yours!
