1970 Chevelle SS 454 — Muscle Car Restoration Detail

It was a pleasure to detail this beautiful 1970 Chevelle SS powered by a 454 for Muscle Car Restorations. This vehicle was in for some service work, and although no paint work was performed, it was ready for a thorough detail to bring the finish back to life.

I started with a rinseless wash, followed by a clay towel treatment to safely remove bonded contaminants from the paint. I then performed a one-step polish, which removed approximately 75% of the scratches and imperfections while enhancing the overall gloss and clarity of the finish.

Once the paint was polished, I applied a 6-month spray sealant to provide protection and help keep that beautiful finish looking its best.
The rest of the vehicle received the same attention to detail, including:

• Complete interior cleaning
• Thorough trunk cleaning
• Engine bay cleaned and hand-wiped
• Wheels thoroughly cleaned
• Water-based tire dressing applied
• All door jambs cleaned
• All glass cleaned inside and out

The 1970 Chevelle was picked up by MCR. They replaced the convertible top and service work. If you need your classic vehicle detailed message me or call. I will do another post with before and after pictures.
