M&M Auto needs your help! We're hiring!
We are looking to add one person to our current team of.. 1 😄 Part time or full time. Flexible hours. You will have the opportunity to work alongside the owner(Matt) on the road, in the garage, and on-site at customer locations.
Duties include, but may not be limited to Service Writer/ Assistant Manager tasks:
- Learn to proficiently use Shopmonkey to communicate with customers, schedule appointments, write estimates, order parts, send invoices, and receive payments.
- Assist Matt with unpacking/setting up tools for jobs, and repacking the truck after each job.
- Assist Matt during jobs, as needed.
- Run errands. For example, supply runs to Harbor Freight/Home Depot to keep the service vehicles stocked with consumable items such as brake clean, rags, cotter pins, etc..
- Occasionally perform basic maintenance/cleaning on service vehicles as needed.
Requirements:
- Must have customer service skills and a positive attitude!
-Must have a valid driver's license and your own transportation.
- Must work well with others, and have a desire to learn new things.
- Must be mechanically inclined, although service writer/automotive experience is preferred, it isn't absolutely necessary.
- Must be flexible. Shift lengths are difficult to predict. Some jobs just don't go as planned. You know what they say.. every 10 minute repair is just one broken bolt away from a 10hr ordeal.
Pay structure and scale will be discussed and agreed upon before hire. After a 90 Day probation period, if you seem like a good fit, you will be provided with 5 custom M&M Auto T-shirts and 1 sweatshirt to wear as your work uniform. At that point, we may also discuss a pay increase. Some perks include access to the space and tools you'd need to fix your own vehicle, and a discount on auto parts.
