Do you have an E99 7.3 Powerstroke but want to run those bada** L99 tunes?! No need to pay an arm and a leg for a new PCM! We can do a DPC Chip Conversion to your PCM that will increase the processing speed so that the E99 PCM (DPC-401 or 402) will run the L99 software (DAC3 or PMT5) without glitching. This also means if you run a chip and have performance tunes available - you'll be able to upgrade those to L99 too!

7.3 PCM Code of the week: P1280 - ICP (Injector Control Pressure Sensor) cir low
Typically presents as a rough idle.
The PCM will lie about the pressure if it's not getting proper voltage. The ICP Voltage should be .9V to fire the injectors. 1V = 700 psi ... so if while running you are showing 2.5V and 1750 psi then both readings are correct. If things are out of range the PCM will substitute fake pressure info but it cannot fake voltage readings.
The ICP sensor should show between 0.2-0.35V at 0 psi with KOEO and .9V to fire injectors and truck to be running - if the range is below 0.2 then either it is not getting signal or the sensor is unplugged. When you run a KOER test - what is the voltage showing?

7.3 PCM Code of the week: P0603 - Internal Control Module Keep Alive Memory (KAM) Error
This code will show up any time the PCM or batteries are disconnected. It is not an operational issue code and should go away after the truck has time to run it's "System check" - until the next time you unplug it!
