Tennessee lost one of its brightest lights today.

From the Smoky Mountains to the entire world, Dolly Parton showed us what kindness, generosity, faith, hard work and a whole lot of sparkle could do.

Thank you for making Tennessee so proud, Dolly. Your music may have made you a legend, but your heart made you a treasure.

122 DAYS UNTIL CHRISTMAS. YES, REALLY.

We know. It’s still August.

But somehow September starts next week, the “BER” months are about to begin, and Christmas is officially only 122 days away.
