2021 Silverado 1500 came in with a faint smell of coolant complaint, and the customer was headed out of town the next day! We pressure tested the system and found a small leak at the radiator. We stayed late and had them on the road in time for vacation. At Reedz the difference between us and the dealership is we go the extra mile for our customers.

2021 Chevy Trax came in with no A/C and coolant low. This Trax had just left a dealership as they could not find the source of the leak, and they did not mention the coolant was empty. Within 10 minutes, the source of the A/C failure was obvious - the compressor had a hole in it. With a new AC compressor and water pump , this Trax is ready for summer vacation.

2013 Sienna came in for a B1441 passenger side temp actuator that was stuck on hot. Another shop had said they didn't want to rip the dash out, and frankly, neither did we 😅. All repairs were done in the vehicle at a fraction of the labor costs.

2015 F150 came in with a stalling complaint and no related codes. With our experience and some data we collected on a test drive, we found that although the complaint wasn’t duplicated, the most likely culprit was sticking solenoids. Once the customer approved teardown, it looked to be the case - all 4 solenoids were clogged with broken-down oil sludge. To avoid issues like this, make sure you change your oil on time or early, according to the manufacturer’s recommended specifications .

A 2013 Ta**us came in with a list of uncommon codes. A quick peek under the hood revealed what we thought was correct. Rodent Damage 😑. If your vehicle sits from time to time, pest deterrents may be something to consider.
