Bootsies will be closed tomorrow, Saturday, May 9th, as we gather to celebrate the life of our mother and grandmother, Lucy.

Lucy & Charlie bought Bootsies in 1986 and for over 30 years she brought to joy to many children by handing out candy to every kid who visited Bootsies on Halloween. Her kindness, warmth, and love for this community will never be forgotten.

Thank you for understanding as our family takes this time to honor and remember her ❤️

UPDATE - FROM THE LITHOPOLIS POLICE DEPARTMENT

On September 28, law enforcement officers responded to several reports of vehicles being damaged overnight in the village. Most of the damage occurred as a result of objects being thrown through vehicle windshields. Lithopolis officers were able to obtain information leading to the identification of four male juveniles. None of the juveniles are village residents. Each of the juveniles was interviewed and admitted their participation in the incidents. The case is currently being reviewed by prosecutors to determine the appropriate charges to be filed against them.

With sadness we share that Bootsies owner, Charles Hess, has passed away.
We will be closed Monday 6/19/23 for visitation and services.
