🚨 TRAINING EXERCISE NOTICE 🚨

This afternoon, residents may notice an increased presence of emergency vehicles, personnel, and activity at Caribou High School.

This is ONLY a planned multi-agency emergency response training exercise involving local fire, EMS, law enforcement, school officials, Cary Medical Center, and emergency management personnel.

❗ There is NO actual emergency. ❗

The exercise is designed to help participating agencies practice coordinated response procedures and improve preparedness for real-world incidents.

Community members are asked to avoid the immediate training area during the exercise to allow participants to conduct the event safely and efficiently.

Thank you for your understanding and support as our local emergency services work together to keep our community safe.

🚨 NOW HIRING – PART-TIME LABORER 🚨

Mark’s Towing Service is seeking a dependable and hardworking part-time laborer to join our team. This position has the potential to become full-time for the right candidate.

Duties may include:
✅ Blocking, unblocking, and leveling mobile homes
✅ Preparing mobile homes for transport
✅ Jacking and transporting sheds and buildings
✅ Assisting with moves and equipment setup
✅ General labor and other related duties

This is a physically demanding position and requires someone who is willing to work outdoors in various weather conditions and perform labor-intensive tasks safely and efficiently.

Requirements:
✔ Reliable transportation
✔ Clean, valid driver’s license
✔ Clean background
✔ Strong work ethic and dependability
✔ Ability to perform physical labor and lift heavy materials
✔ Class A or Class B CDL preferred, but not required

We are saddened to learn of the passing of retired Caribou Police Officer Doug Bell.

For 37 years, Officer Bell proudly served the citizens of Caribou with the Caribou Police Department. He was known not only for his professionalism and deep commitment to our community, but also for the relationships he built with those he worked with as well as the countless people he helped. Whether it was an accident scene or assisting with an investigation, our team was always grateful to work alongside him.

On behalf of Mark’s Towing Service, we extend our thoughts, prayers, and deepest condolences to Officer Bell’s family, friends, and the men and women at the Caribou Police Department.

Officer Bell, we thank you for your service and promise that your legacy will not be forgotten.💙
