Shocks, struts, control arms, ball joints, bushings, and steering components all work together to help keep the vehicle stable, predictable, and planted on the road. Suspension wear can happen gradually, which is why it’s easy to get used to how a vehicle drives as things loosen up over time. A proper inspection can help catch worn parts before they start affecting tire life, alignment, or overall handling.
