💭: The car was specially made for the Orange Bowl parade, held on New Year’s Eve 1962. President John F. Kennedy and his wife Jacqueline were the grand marshals and among the 72,880 fans in attendance the following day. A photo that ran in the Miami Herald that week shows the first lady standing in the back seat of the car while the president greeted Cuban exile leaders.”

💡 Purchased this cluster 10 yrs ago … cleaned it up with 0️⃣0️⃣0️⃣0️⃣ steel wool & Brasso … added some lights and placed it in my display case.

I need to swap the batteries in the LEDs and take a more recent pic!

Thanks Jack Bernstine for sharing your image with us … Jack stated “I recently reupholstered my 1964 Lincoln and converted from bench seating to contour seating. I went to great lenghts to get the correct sheen on the leather, match the vinyl to the leather and put it where it belongs, and make sure that the piping and stitching was correct. I wanted the car to be stock and look like it would have as new in 1964.”
