I still have the first Hot Wheels car I ever bought, the one I picked up with the very first dollar I earned. Even back then, I wasn’t just playing with cars, I was lining them up, making sure each one looked its best.

When I was a kid, I’d crawl under my brother’s and my bunk bed with toy tools, convinced I was fixing an engine. In my mind, it wasn’t pretend, it felt real.

I never would’ve thought that one day I’d be where I am now, working on the kinds of vehicles I’ve had the opportunity to work with.

But in a way, not much has changed.

I still care about the little details. I still take pride in making something look just right. And every time I step into the shop, a part of that kid is still there.

This Ferrari F8 Tributo is one of those moments where it all comes full circle.

Because for me, it’s never just been about the shine,it’s about what got me here in the first place.
