How can tell that a vehicle has been smoked in?
If it's properly vacuumed, you may not find white and gray ashes throughout the car. So what else identifies a smoker vehicle? Check the corner of the roof and driver door - yellowish dirt can in fact not be just dirt, but ni****ne and tar residue from smoking out the window. Also look for small round burnt spots that come from still glowing ashes flying off the cigarette or maybe someone even used a cup holder or door handle pocket to put it out!
Smoke smell remedy in a vehicle is usually a multi step process and involves a complete deep clean of the interior, smell elimination and disinfectant with Ozone treatment and using a special air vent cleaner. Changing the cabin air filter is always recommended. And the success rate? With light to medium smoker cars we can often fully get rid of the smell. But a multi-year chain smoker? Our procedure will greatly reduce the smell, but fully eliminating it in hard cases is sadly often impossible.
