Can you do a detailing service that's not perfect?

Well, it's hard for us, but yes! We have different service levels. If someone doesn't want the complete deep clean and recondition service, we offer vacuum & wipe down with or without outside wash. Officially it's called a Mini Detail, but we also call it the Happy Meal. And this is what that looks like: most dog hair removed, loose dirt wiped up. What didn't go away is the embedded soil that's deep in the pores of the leather. But if a quick spruce up is all you need for your car? Don't hesitate to book just a basic clean "happy meal", but then don't expect a steak dinner.

The Swissdetail Shop is all refreshed on the outside. The painters did an amazing job with walls, trim and doors. Now we have really really red Garage doors again!
And it's not a random red, it's the Swiss Flag red. It stands for valor and bravery. Honoring our heritage and the values we were taught growing up in this small act of choosing a bold red as contrast color for our building.

We love custom vehicles, and this one is a picture of quality and performance in one package. Of course we couldn't miss showing off the Engine Bay for this one. And did you see that color? We installed a multi year ceramic coating a few years ago, and it just came in for some maintenance. Always love people who really let us care for their cars!

Goodbye faded paint!

The Swissdetail Shop is due for a refresh. So we're shutting down tonight and give the painters a few days to overhaul the Exterior of our shop. New paint for walls, trim and doors is part of regular building maintenance, but we are just so excited to get a refreshed look! Is that how people feel when they bring their cars to us???

Nobody wants to admit this - but we can't fix everything. Detailing has it's limits.

This Sequoia turned out really great. First deep clean and condition after being 1 year old. But it already shows wear that can't be remedied by a detailer. The road rash (tiny chips) and deep scratches on the wheel well trim, or scuffs on the interior.

It doesn't mean that it can't be fixed at all, but there are different professions for this: Auto Body Shops for repainting exterior, companies like that specialize in Vinyl and leather repair, Upholstery shops if it's really severe damage to seats. A good detailer does the best to bring the car back to a like new condition, and things that can't be addressed may be pointed out for a client if that's of interest to them.

2003 GMC Yukon - at just below 100k miles

We're not ever getting tired of refreshing well loved older vehicles. Didn't this Yukon turn out gorgeous? And on a sunny day the red just pops. A good example of: take care of your things and they'll last! Is the car perfect? No. It has a few dents and minor scrapes, but that's part of having character and stories to tell.

2016 Chevy SS

We call this a repeat offender. Yes, you've seen this car on our page before. But we can't help it, we had to take new pictures and share them when the car came back this spring. At 10 years old, it was time for a complete Exterior overhaul and full protection package - with Cerakote Ceramics of course. The Chevy SS is a low production numbers car that's not produced anymore. Corvette performance packed in a 4 door sedan that can blend in with the daily driver cars. Unless you're a gearhead, then you'll immediately spot why this is not a Chevy Cruze or Impala.

This Yukon came in for the annual deep clean inside and outside ceramic maintenance. A prime example for restoring a car back to a like new condition. What kids? Do we even have any dogs? Maybe both - you can't tell by looking at it now though!
