Jase Smith Racing

10/11/2026

UPS and downs at RC track today. Jase went to Ultimate RC Pitstop again and got top qualifier in both Losi Late Model and Losi Sprint car. Jase started in the pole and had great leads only to get dumped by lap cars. Jase was able to still get 2nd in the sprint car and had a DNF in the Late Model.

A little different race recap this weekend. Unfortunately, Middleford cancelled for weather. So Jase said let’s go up to the RC race at Ultimate Rc Pitstop. We showed up and realized this was a no joke race. 247 entries total, 37 in Losi Late Model and 39 in Losi Sprint car. We will get the sprint car out of the way. We were on too soft of a tire and could get the car to roll the corner with any speed without biking over. Now the Late model was another story. Coming off a win at Pheasant Land Tuesday. Jase was on rails and tied for quick time in the first qualifier. Jase ran a great 2nd qualifier and locked into the A main starting 3rd. During the A main Jase got bumped around in the first few laps and fell back to 7th. Jase drove his butt off and came back to 4th at the checkers. For only his 5th race driving an RC car he was very excited to just make the A main and to finish 4th was a great accomplishment.

Well Middleford canceled so no Speedstr racing tomorrow. But Jase will be headed to Ultimate RC to race some smaller cars.
