Out with the old, in with the glow. 🌊✨

Underwater lights take a beating from salt, scale, and time. When it’s time for an upgrade, we don’t settle for "good enough." We just finished swapping out a tired, corroded unit for these high-performance SMX lights.

Not only do they look incredible, but the build quality ensures this boat will be lighting up the Boston harbor for seasons to come. Swipe to see the night-and-day difference! ➡

No more "battery anxiety." Just the sound of the water. 🌊

Just finished giving this 2018 Beneteau Oceanis 38.1 a serious nervous system transplant. The owner wanted to move away from "managing" power and get back to enjoying the boat.

A massive 460Ah Epoch V2 Elite is at the heart of this system. We love these units because they don’t mess around—the integrated Class T fuse means we’re baking safety directly into the bank.

A Victron MultiPlus 12/2000 paired with a Cerbo GX serves as the brains. Now, the owner can check their battery SOC from the couch at home via Victron's Remote Management Portal.

We didn't just swap batteries; we ripped out the old guts and installed a fresh AC breaker panel to make sure everything is crisp, labeled, and 100% ABYC compliant.

What’s the one appliance you wish you could run at anchor without a gen-set? Let us know in the comments. 👇

Powering up for a legendary season!

Putting the finishing touches on this massive 24V Victron Energy system. From the MultiPlus-II 5kVA inverter to the Smart Lithium banks, this setup is designed for ultimate reliability and off-grid freedom.

Spring is here and the M.P. Marine schedule is packed. We’re working hard to get every boat ready for launch, but to keep it fair, we’re sticking to a first-come, first-served schedule.

We’re doing our best to hit those launch windows, but no guarantees on dates—we prioritize safety and precision above all else.

See you on the water!

M.P. Marine is hiring!

Now Hiring: The Founding Technical Team

M.P. Marine was started with the intention of replacing chaos with a plan. In the world of boat wiring, we don’t just expect you to get it done. We provide our team with a clear roadmap so that every system we touch is built right, stays safe, and just works. We are looking for an Apprentice and Lead Tech who want to move past the guesswork and master the craft of high-end marine electrical systems.

The Opportunity: We are looking for our first full-time employees to help us set the bar for marine electrical excellence. Whether you are a seasoned expert looking for more autonomy or a motivated newcomer looking for a high-tech trade, we have a seat at the table for you.

Role 1: Experienced Lead Marine Electrician

The Focus: Lead the autonomous diagnosis, design, and installation of foundational AC/DC systems. You are the expert on Li-Ion battery systems, BMS integration, and NMEA 2000 digital networking.
The Standard: From clean and parallel cable runs to labeled harnesses, you ensure the "invisible" work is a work of art.
Qualifications: 3+ years of marine/industrial electrical experience. Knowledge of ABYC E-11 standards (ABYC/NMEA certifications a plus but not required).
Compensation: $38.00 - $50.00/hour + Performance Bonus eligibility.

Role 2: Entry-Level Marine Technician (Apprentice)

The Focus: Provide reliable support to the Lead Tech and Owner. You’ll learn the future of marine power—routing cables, securing connections, and maintaining a safe, organized shop.
The Mindset: You are a "Technical Investigator." You "Search First" using our digital resources and manufacturer portals to find the right answer before turning the screwdriver.
The Growth: We don't expect you to know everything, but we expect you to be honest. At M.P. Marine, mistakes are for learning, not hiding.
Qualifications: Strong mechanical aptitude, high school diploma/GED, and a desire to build a career in the electrical trades.
Compensation: $22.00 - $25.00/hour + $500 Certification Bonus.

What We Offer All Employees
Intentional Culture: No more "making it work" with zip ties and prayers. We provide the roadmap and the right tools.
Investment in Mastery: 100% funding for all ABYC/NMEA certifications and specialized manufacturer training. We pay for you to become an expert.
Transparency: Open communication with the Owner, clear project notes, and a collaborative environment where your voice is heard.

To apply: Scan the QR code to access the application link or send us a message and include the phrase "Voltage Drop" at the top.

Big boat, bigger power. ⚓️

M.P. Marine is currently tackling one of our largest projects to date: a total power overhaul on a stunning 64' Jeanneau. We’re swapping out the old lead-acid batteries for a massive 800Ah 24v Lithium NG system, paired with a 5000va MultiPlus inverter.

The goal? "Silent Cruising." While they’ll still use the generator for AC on those humid Boston days, this setup means peaceful nights on the hook without the constant hum of a motor. 🤫

STOP REPLACING YOUR BOAT BATTERIES! đźš«

We found the real reasons why this Boston Whaler's batteries kept failing:

1. Imbalanced Bank: Cables wired incorrectly, leading to uneven power draw and short battery life.
2. Blind Monitoring: Charger bypassed the shunt, giving the Raymarine system misleading amperage readings.

The Ultimate Fix? Future-proof your Boston-area vessel with an M.P. Marine upgrade.

Victron SmartProtect: Automated defense against deep discharge battery death.
Remote Monitoring: Track voltage and battery state of charg in real-time—no more guessing.
Lithium Power: The final solution for max lifespan and zero charge worries.

Stop replacing your batteries and start upgrading today!

M.P. Marine has been hard at work putting together this blueprint for a huge Victron Lithium upgrade.

I spend this time designing for a few reasons. No guessing games means the install is done faster and more efficiently. Every fuse and wire precisely specced, ensuring absolute safety. And if anything ever needs checking down the line, there is a detailed roadmap for instant troubleshooting.
