Boca Aircraft Owners, located at the Boca Raton Airport, has been a valued part of the aviation community since 1982. Their facility includes 76 individual hangars and 14 storage and office units across eight steel buildings at the north end of the airport.

Beyond their facilities, Boca Aircraft Owners plays an important role in strengthening the local aviation network. By supporting organizations such as Lynn University and the Civil Air Patrol, they help create opportunities for education, leadership development, and continued engagement in the industry.

Being part of the aviation community allows us to contribute to meaningful connections that support both industry growth and local impact. We value working alongside organizations that help bring aviation enthusiasts, pilots, and innovators together through a shared passion for flight.

Did you know? Air traffic controllers also monitor and interpret weather conditions as part of their role in maintaining safe flight operations.

Air traffic controllers monitor and relay important weather information, such as thunderstorms, wind shear, turbulence, and low visibility conditions, to support safe flight operations.

Controllers use METARs (routine aviation weather reports), PIREPs (pilot weather reports), and technology such as Boca Raton Airport’s new Automated Weather Observing System (AWOS) to provide pilots with real-time weather information in and around the airport environment.

Especially during Florida’s summer storm season, weather awareness plays an essential role in keeping operations safe and efficient every day.
