🚩 That $500 auto transport quote could turn into $1,000 real quick.

One of the oldest tricks in the car shipping industry? The bait and switch.

Some auto transport brokers advertise unbelievably low car shipping rates to get your business. But when it’s time to actually dispatch your vehicle, suddenly the price changes. And now you’re scrambling to find reliable transportation.

💡 Before booking any auto transport company, ask:
🚗 Is this price realistic for my shipping route?
🚗 Is the quote guaranteed or subject to change?
🚗 What happens if no carrier accepts the quoted rate?

The cheapest car shipping quote isn’t always the best deal, especially when your pickup date is approaching.

At Autos On The Go, we’ve been coordinating nationwide vehicle transportation since 2008. We believe in realistic pricing, reliable carriers, and keeping our customers informed.

Most people don’t realize this… but transporting a Lucid Air is completely different than shipping a regular car.

It’s heavier. Lower to the ground. And if it’s not secured properly, things can go wrong fast.

We’ve seen carriers try to strap these like standard sedans—and that’s where damage happens.

For Lucid shipments, we focus on:
• Proper wheel strap securement (no stress on suspension)
• Correct use of factory tie-down points
• Low-angle loading to protect the front end
• Making sure the vehicle is in transport mode (yes, it matters)

It’s small details—but that’s what separates a smooth delivery from a stressful one.

We just put together a full breakdown of how Lucid vehicles should actually be transported 👇
