JOB DESCRIPTION:
As a technician on our team, you will be responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining the vehicles that come through our shop. You will use state-of-the-art diagnostic tools, perform scheduled maintenance services, and ensure that all work meets our shop’s ambitious standards, which will help us stand confidently behind our warranty. This role requires technical expertise, attention to detail, a commitment to excellence, and a customer – first attitude.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Diagnose and repair mechanical and electrical problems in a wide range of vehicles.
Perform thorough inspections to help our service advisor teams explain the work that needs done on the car to help maximize profits.
Perform routine maintenance services, including oil changes, tire rotations, and brake inspections.
Use diagnostic tools and equipment to assess vehicle conditions.
Maintain a clean and organized work environment and adhere to all safety standards.
Ensure all repairs are completed to the highest standard and on schedule.
Keep up to date with the latest automotive technology and repair techniques.
Contribute to a positive team environment and shop culture by collaborating with colleagues.
QUALIFICATIONS:
ASE Certification or equivalent (preferred)
Welding experience (preferred)
Minimum of 2 years of experience as an auto technician, preferred
Proficiency with digital tools, diagnostic software, and general computer skills, preferred
Strong knowledge of automotive systems and repair techniques
Excellent diagnostic and problem-solving skills
Ability to work efficiently both independently and as part of a team
Effective communication skills to effectively interact with service advisors and customers
